Having a ball in Idaho

Danny had his first experience bowling during our Thanksgiving trip. He LOVED it - big ball, throw it, knock stuff down. So fun. He did surprisingly well waiting for his turn too. Here he is bowling with Dad and his birthday buddy - cousin Isaac (whose name he shares).

Danny also had fun showing G-Pops his favorite computer game. You press a key to make a character kick a ball and score a goal. It counts along with each goal and when you reach 10 there are fireworks. Thanks to my friend Laura for sharing it with me - it's on fisher-price.com along with many other games. Grandpa and Danny were just laughing and having so much fun on the computer.

Last but not least, Danny got a little more practice on the pool table at G-Pops house. This was the first visit where he actually grasped the concept of playing. On Thanksgiving I couldn't find him with any of the other kids. He was downstairs watching great grandpa Bill playing pool, and he wanted to "pay poo" every moment after. Another great sport for this kid - take a stick, hit a ball. SWEET! We'll have to work on appropriate table etiquette before he goes pro - pretty sure you're not allowed to sit on the table. Thanks to grandpa for being so patient!
