Baby Names

It is just over 2 weeks until my due date. By this time we were sure about Danny's name. However, despite several baby name books & late nights looking at names online, we are still at a loss. I'm sure we'll make a final decision when we see her, but here's some we're thinking of:

Madison Jane
Kailey
Kayla
Elizabeth (Lizzie)
Eliza
Hadley
Sophia
Sophie
Jessica

Did I miss any Matt? This could be risky, but we're open to opinions and suggestions. We just haven't unitedly fallen in love with any of the girl names yet.

I totally know where you're coming from on this. Maybe you should wait til you're being delivered and have all the nurses and doctor help you figure out a name-worked for us! But I'll just throw my opinion in of your list, they are all very cute but I think I like Madison Jane and Sophie the best...I wish you all the best it is tough that's for sure!

You forgot Dagny and Helen.

I think I like Madison Jane the best. I think Lizzie is cute, Danny and Lizzie, but I don't know about Lizzie Hong. I don't like Hadley Hong. We always think a lot about how the first and last name sound together, our last name is rough with some first names. I can't name my children until I see them either. Good luck these last two weeks.

Either way, that's what their name will be and it won't be weird or bad 10 years down the line. And when she's a teenager, she'll probably hate what ever you choose anyway

I vote Kailey and Sophia! We know a Hadley and she's very manish. Stephen Leavitt says Madison is a white trash name and I already have one white trash Madison neice:)

I also like Marrie and Catt. I think that would be a great symbolism of the love that combined to create this sweet sweet baby.

I love Elizabeth and Sophie, they were on my list too. Good luck. We couldn't decide right away either, so all Claire's hospital stuff says "baby oneal"

We also don't name our children until we see them. But I like Kayla and Madison Jane. But if you've noticed I like the K names: Karla, Kylee, Kaylyn... I wish you luck. And I'm sure it will come to you as you look at your baby. With this last one we also looked up the meanings of the names we were considering--and it actually made our decision very clear.

Hey, I didn't know Mindy was so sentimental. I do like Marrie, but Catt isn't there for me. I like Sophie. Helen is good (lots of family history both Hong, Jensen and VanEps) or Helena. Do check the meanings of names. That's how I choose Matt and Tim's names. Jerry choose Kerry and Melinda (Mindy's true name) was from a movie/song (ON a Clear Day You Can See Forever). Best to have your research done and some good ideas and then be inspired when the time comes. I think all my kids liked their names (except when Kerry was mistaken for a girl (his dad's fault, not mine) And Matt has been insulted for my reasoning for only one t in his name. Everytime the phone rings and I see Texas Call, I get excited. Thoughts and Prayers are with you. Lots of Love, Mom Hong

I LOVE Eliza.

You know I love any variation of Elizabeth. I'm also digging Sophie. I'm just shocked that Hortensia didn't make the list. Shocking, really.
